Prague Indoor Surfing

You will start with bodyboarding and as you get more confident, you can switch to a fast and exciting ride in stand-up (surfing). Afterwards you can check your performance recording to find out how much of a surfer you are! Let’s do it!

Our Prague indoor surfing arena operates in all weather conditions!

How does this activity work?

Our party guide with a private coach will pick you up at your hotel in Prague. Together you will drive to the Surf Arena, which is located in Prague. After arriving to the arena you will receive a 30 minutes of surfing theory lesson from a local surfing expert. Then you just have to pick your wet suit and you are ready to surf! Swimwear, towels and other equipment can be borrowed for free at the reception. The surfing lesson lasts 1 hour during which your stag party can try to lie, kneel or stand on the surfing board! A local surfing expert will be there with you to help you improve! Usually by the end of the session everybody is able to surf at least a little bit.

After the surfing is over, you can enjoy cold Czech lager while watching your best crashes on a recording! The recordings can be purchased for a small fee.

Origin of surfing

The origin of surfing dates back to the 4th century AD to Hawai. Modern they surfing was brought from Hawai to the United States at the end of the 19th century. The original Hawaian surf was 5 metres long. The americans decided to cut it in half to make the surf more manageable, thus creating the original long board.
